Abstract
A 10 year old girl presented with a history of gradual progressive diminution of vision with whitish discolouration of both eye followed by swelling of left eye since last 5 years with no history of trauma. On examination of left eye, visual acquity was PL negative, eyeball was protruded with thin sclera, lobulated opacified cornea, decreased extraocular movements, fundus could not be evaluated. Her right eye presented with central corneal opacity with adherent leucoma, visual acquity was hand movement close to face, extraocular movement and fundus within normal limit. General examination of the patient revealed BMI< 3SD with grade 3 IAP classification of malnutrition. Routine blood investigation was done, Hb level was 5gm/dl. Left eye was enucleated and ocular prosthesis implanted and oral vitamin A supplementation started. Patient is registered for keratoplasty of right eye and called for follow up.
