Abstract
A 63 year old male referred with recurrent total hyphema after uncomplicated Small Incision Cataract Surgery with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation done elsewhere. He underwent Anterior chamber wash twice at the operating hospital. Systemic investigation was carried out. His bleeding time and clotting time was normal. Complete blood count showed pancytopenia suggestive of Hypoplastic Anaemia. Bone marrow biopsy revealed plasmacytosis. Serum protein electrophoresis was adviced, which revealed Polyclonal Hypergammaglobinaemia. A diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma was made and the patient was referred to Department of Haematology for further management.
