Abstract
A 34 year old female patient had presented to us with complains of defective vision since childhood in both her eyes. Her visual acuity at presentation was 2/60, unaided and her specular count was normal. On slit lamp evaluation, the cornea showed crystalline deposits in a ring shaped fashion with a central clear zone. She also had Arcus Lipoides, combined with mid peripheral corneal haze in Both her eyes. She underwent Photo Therapeutic Keratectomy in her Right Eye, following which her vision was 1/60. Subsequently, she underwent a Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty and her visual acuity markedly improved to 6/12 unaided on the first post operative visit. Presenting this case, for its rare, bilateral, unusual clinical picture with the Classical triad of Schnyder’s Corneal Dystrohy in a relatively young patient.
