Abstract
50 years old female, presented with sudden loss of vision in Right eye associated with pain and redness since 20 days. BCVA in right eye was HMCF with conjunctival congestion, corneal edema, iris neovascularization and mid dilated non reacting pupil. Fundus examination showed optic disc pallor. Intra ocular pressure recorded 70mm hg in Right eye. Thus confirmed Neovascular Glaucoma. BP was 242/143 with normal blood sugar. The patient was started on oral acetazolamide with eye drops brimonidine, timolol and dorzolamide and antihypertensive. After 2 weeks of treatment BCVA was HMCF with clear conjunctiva and cornea. The patient was then treated with 360degree cryotherapy. Clinical history showed CRVO and CLRAO diagnosed in right eye and treated with one dose of intravitreal injection bevacizumab but lost to follow up. Our case report emphasis regular follow up, early detection of iris and angle neovascularization in CRVO and CLRAO could prevent the progression to neovascular glaucoma.
