Abstract

A 62 years male patient came with complain of diminution of vision in right eye following trauma by a tamarind leaf 4 months back following which he had redness and pain and the vision reduced to nil vision by now.On examination Visual acuity -perception of light is negative in right eye.Investigation- Intra Ocular Pressure in right eye was 29.4mmHg by Schiotz Tonometry using 10gm.B scan revealed posteriorly dislocated lens in right eye.Treatment – Timolol eye drops 0.5% BD ,5%soline eyedrops 5 times a day and Tab Diamox 250 mg BD. Conclusion-The pressure was reduced upon starting the treatment.
