Abstract
A 12 yrs old boy presented with a 1 month history of gradually progressing, painless and severe protrusion of the right eyeball, associated with total diminution of vision. Examination of the R/E revealed absent eyelid crease, severely chemosed conjunctiva and sloughed out cornea(d/t exposure keratitis). On palpation, a rubbery mass could be felt over the superior sulcus. Extraocular muscle movement was restricted in all quadrants. On general examination, there was no presence of lymphadenopathy or organomegaly. Complete blood picture and thyroid function test were all within normal limit. MRI report suggested malignant lymphoma with intracranial extension and infiltration. Incisional biopsy was taken from the mass through supero-temporal approach for the confirmation of the diagnosis, HPE report awaited.
