Abstract
A 23 year Hindu female, of average socioeconomic status presented to us with left upper lid mass localised towards medial orbital wall, which she noticed one year back. It was 1.5X1.5 cm, depth couldn’t be assessed; mobile, firm, non tender, not attached to underlying skin, not associated with any discharge, non reducible, no increase in size with valsalva, no associated orbital thrill or pulsation, no regional lymphadenopathy . She had Visual acuity of 6/6 both eyes and IOP 15 mmhg both eyes. Anterior and posterior segment examination of left eye was within normal limits, routine hemogram & peripheral smear was normal. MRI orbit shows 1.6X0.9X1.3 cm, well defined heterogeneous benign appearing lesion, presumably Dermoid. Cryotherapy assisted excision biopsy of mass revealed SEBACEOUS CARCINOMA. The rarity of case considering her age and accessory reports incited reporting.
