Abstract

A 60 years old male presented to our OPD with complaints of painless progressive loss of vision in both eyes (L>R) for 20 days. Patient was a known hypertensive and diabetic on regular treatment. On examination, the best-corrected visual acuity was 5/60 in the right eye and HMCF with accurate PR in the left eye. Anterior segment examination revealed sluggish pupillary reaction in left eye and normal reaction in right eye with NS- 2 IMSC in both eyes. Fundus examination revealed choroidal metastasis in both the eyes with vitreous hemorrhage in left eye. CE- MRI brain and orbit revealed brain metastasis with metastatic left retinal detachment and vitreous hemorrhage with small space occupying lesion over right retina. Patient was diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma of lung on oncology consultation and was started on palliative radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
