Abstract

A 10 days old female baby presented with diffuse reddishpurple discoloration of face and hazy cornea since birth. No positive family history. Mild discharge with photophobia was present .on examination there was diffuse haemangioma of face on both sides including eyelids, examination under anaesthesia revealed high iop in both eyes. RE 25mm og hg and LE 30 mm of hg. Diameter of cornea was 12.50 mm (BE). There was hazy cornea, mostly epithelial oedema(LE>RE). faintly fundus was seen in right eye which was normal . trabeculotomy ab externo and trabeculectomy was done. patient was reviewed on 1st and 2nd post op day, after 1 month and 3 month. iop was maintained. transparency improved. patient developed fixation.
