Abstract
Purpose -The purpose of this study is to find out the prevalence of posterior segment changes in cases of high myopia using (SD-OCT)
Method- Study was done on 183 patients of high myopia & SD-OCT to detect posterior segment changes. These findings were correlated with axial length.age ,spherical equivalent and best corrected visual acuity. Bivariate correlations were performed between different parameters with the use of Spearman correlation coefficient (r).
Results- OCT finding among pathological myopia is CNV followed by vitreomacular tractions and least common is RD in followed by Lamellar macular holes in patients and other findings are epiretinal membrane in ,Myopic foveoschisisin dome shaped macula in among the various other findings.
Conclusion- Complications which are associated with decreased visual acuity among OCT findings are VMT, MF, Tractional ILM Detachment, FTMH, RD and DSM & showed positive correlation with Axial Length.
