Abstract
Children who have radiologically diagnosed with supra-sellar pituitary lesions are referred ophthalmic evaluation. These children need to undergo functional tests like visual acuity, colour vision, contrast sensitivity and visual field testing was in addition to imaging like disc OCT-RNFL(Retinal Nerve Fibre Layer) and Macular OCT- GCC to diagnose optic neuropathy. This video highlights the significance decrease in nasal GCC on macular OCT as an early (and potentially the earliest) pre-perimetric bio-marker of eventual visual field loss can be considered as an early sign for neuro-surgical intervention or medical management thereby preventing functional loss.
