Abstract

Aim of the study- To study about the clinical profile and presentations of VKC at a tertiary care hospital.

Materials &methods- Prospective study of patients presenting with VKC from the period of january 2019 to december 2019

Results- Among total cases male to female ratio 4.1:1,79%cases during spring & summer season,bilateral involvement in 90% cases, most common age group of presentation 6-10 yr 44.18%,more common presenting features palpebral type with itiching 93% followed by redness 60% of cases.

Conclusion-VKC is common in our tropical countries among young males <20 yrs of age.Early diagnosis & treatment of cases prevents the late complications of VKC.
