Abstract
Aim- To evaluate a case of unilateral Toxic Corneal Endotheliitis Findings- History of accidental instillation of Calotropis gigantea extract in left eye followed by diminution of vision .Unilateral corneal edema with superficial punctate keratitis, no epithelial compromise and normal intra ocular pressure was suggestive of Toxic Corneal Endotheliitis. Patient treated well with topical steroids. Summary-Toxic exposures due to Calotropis gigantea are not uncommon in india . Toxic Corneal Endotheliitis due to such exposures should not be overlooked .It is essential to study occurrence, presentation and treatment of the same.
