Abstract
Reporting 55 year old female known case of Dyslipidaemia presented with complaint of swelling of right periorbital region and redness of right eye since 6 month.It is associated with tingling pain in right side of forehead and periorbital region
On examination vision showed 6/6 in right eye and 6/12 in left eye.Fundus examination showed no papilloedema.HFA showed enlargement of blind spot.OCT-ONH showed mild disc oedema in right eye.MRI revealed well defined diffusely enhancing soft tissue mass lesion involving right wing of sphenoid,right intraorbital component,right infratemporal fossa component-suggestive of meningioma.Neurosurgery consultation was done .patient underwent Right orbito zygomatic craniotomy and excision of tumour and attached dura.On follow up,patient found to be symptomatically better.Orbital meningioma can compress the optic nerve.So early diagnosis and timely intervention is essential to save vision.
