Abstract
Aim: To evaluate a case of Bilateral Lateral Rectus Palsy Findings: History of assault with chop weapon 20 days ago followed by diplopia and restriction of lateral movements bilaterally after a few days. Visual acuity was 6/9 in both eyes. On fundoscopy signs of resolving papilloedema were seen. CT scan reported a 5mm midline shift towards left. Summary: Incidence of bilateral lateral rectus palsy is extremely rare in trauma. This case highlights the occurence and management of the same.
