Abstract
AIM: To report a rare case of Ocular Adnexal Lymphoma (OAL) of Tcell origin.
METHODS: Reporting a case of a 30 year old gentleman referred for OD conjunctivitis of 20days, not resolving with oral & topical antibiotics. He complained of OD lower lid swelling . Blood work up showed reduced WBC, borderline platelet count & elevated CRP. Ocular examination both eyes, within normal limits. CT orbit showed homogeneous density soft tissue swelling right lower lid and extending over inferior orbital rim, not extending to posterior septal tissue. Histopathology and immunohistochemistry following incision biopsy suggested of High grade T cell immunophenotype Non Hodgkin Lymphoma.
CONCLUSION: T cell lymphoma in periocular area are rare. These are aggressive tumor assosciated with extra nodal ínvolvment. Following systemic work up and imaging the lymphoma can be staged and further treatment modality planned. Ocular adnexal lymphomas will also need systemic work up besides local management.
