Abstract

Observational case series with retrospective data analysis of corneal manifestations among mucormycosois was done.Of all mucormycosois cases,30 eyes of 25 patients presented with Corneal manifestations.6 eyes of 3 patients with corneal melt.2 eyes underwent bilateral exenteration.4 eyes of 3 patients had perforated corneal ulcer.2 eyes had uveal prolapse became phthisical.4 eyes of 3 patients had round-oval central ulcer.1 eye showed complete healing.Rest 3 eyes underwent exenteration. 2 eyes of 1 patient had Filamentary keratitis, healed completely.7 eyes showed exposure keratopathy. 1 eye had DM folds,lamellar scleral rupture.1 eye had DM folds,anterior cells,posterior synaechiae,treated with topical steroid and cycloplegic.1 eye showed non healing inferior corneal facet.2 eyes showed severe dry eye with hyphaema, underwent exenteration.30 eyes had decreased corneal sensitivity.20 eyes had severe dry eye. Orbital mucormycosis affected eyes only, showed corneal involvement
