Abstract
A 60-year-old female presented with bilateral neovascular AMD. Medical history was suggestive of hypercholesteremia. On examination, BCVA was 6/60 OD 6/9 OS. Fundus examination showed a yellowish lesion at the macula, OCT revealed findings suggestive of type 1 CNVM and was given multiple anti-VEGF injections. On follow-up, Oct examination revealed the presence of multiple sub RPE hyperreflective bands. These represent lipid trapped within fibrovascular tissue originating from type 1 neovascular exudation. They correlate with an overlying ped and is known as the onion peel sign.
