Abstract
A 19 year old female teenager presented with defective central vision which was gradual in onset and dark spots in front of both eyes since 3 years. On examination visual acuity was 6/60 with no pin hole improvement in both eyes.macular function testing with amsler grid showed distorted central vision and central scotoma in both eyes. Dilated fundus examination revealed beaten bronze appearance in macular area. This interesting case is being presented for its typical appearance of stargardts and for presenting with very poor vision in second decade.
