Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study to evaluate the ocular findings in foster kennedy syndrome.
Method: In this study the ocular findings in F.K.S is evaluated as: vision by snellen chart,anterior segment examination by pen torch and slit lamp, posterior segment examination by indirect opthalmoscopy , USG B scan and MRI.
Result: In this study the typical presentation of F.K.S with optic nerve atrophy with flame shaped hemorrhage on the site of lession and disc edema on the other side secondary to intracranial mass were observed.
Conclusion: Although F.K.Syndrome is uncommon but when there is optic nerve atrophy associated with acute pathology of other eye ,a space occupying lession should be suspected hence early detection and management becomes crucial.
