Abstract

The Coronavirus pandemic over the last 2 years has changed people view themselves, their near and dear ones, their jobs and their diseases. Priorities have been sorted. This paper aims to demonstrate the eye conditions that the patients visiting a Private Eye Institute in Kolkata are most concerned about during times of crisis. An attempt is made to delve into the psyche of a patient of Retinal Detachment, Glaucoma, itching and redness, simple refractive errors and those with new found knowledge about Mucormycosis. The study also considers physical visits as well as telemedicine calls. Should another disaster like this one strike again, we as ophthalmologists know where we and our patients stand.
