Abstract
A 32yrs old indian female presented with chief complaint of gradual painless dimnuation of vision in Right Eye for 5 months. She denied of any other ocular symptoms. Past Medical and family history was not significant. Her best corrected visual acuity was 6/24 in right eye and 6/6 in left eye. Fundoscopy shows medium sized disc with circular lesion in the temporal Neuroretinal Rim in RE suggestive of optic disc pit. Optical coherence tomography of right eye showed accumulation of serous fluid separating the sensory retina and the retinal pigment epithelium suggestive of Inner retinal schisis associated with optic disc pit. Patient underwent Pars plana vitreactomy along with complete induction of PVD. A disc based ILM flap was raised & plugged in to the optic disc pit without detaching it followed by two rows of low intensity laser was applied temporal to disc. OCT at 6months revealed complete resolution of the cystoid changes with regain of foveal contour and visual acuity was 6/12.
