Abstract
Purpose: To identify the pattern of uveitis & seasonal variation at a tertiary eye center. Methods: This prospective observational study undertaken with all new uveitis cases . Results: 110 patients were included in the study. Nearly 55.6% were male and 45.6% were female; mean age at presentation was 30 ± 15 years. Anterior uveitis was the most common variant (41.4%), followed by panuveitis (21.2%), posterior (20.7%), and intermediate uveitis (16.7%). Out of 110 patients, (49.5%) were idiopathic and (50.5%) patients with specific etiology. Conclusions: Among the noninfectious patients, Idiopathic & HLA B 27 associated uveitis was the most common cause seen in patients. ocular tuberculosis was leading cause for infectious etiology seen in patients.
