Abstract
Aim: To study multicolour (MC) imaging features in post-fever retinitis (PFR). Methods: Retrospective analysis of PFR cases with dilated retinal clinical examination, OCT and MC imaging were included. Results: There were 25 eyes of 18 PFR patients. 11 were males; 7 females. Mean age was 30.63 years. Retinitis lesion appeared bright white on MC image and white on BR and GR images during active PFR stages. The lesion appeared dull-grey to greyish white during resolving stages and as dull-green in resolved cases. Active stage showed presence of IRF/SRF which appeared green color on MC images and less green to normal during resolving stages. Hard exudates were seen as bright yellow- or orange-coloured spots on MC image during the resolving disease stages. Conclusion: The different stages of PFR show different colour on multicolour image and different reflectance patterns on individual colour reflectance channels. Hence, multicolour imaging with different wavelength can be helpful in PFR.
