Abstract

A 6 yrs old female child presented with complaints of large bluish right eyeball with diminution of vision & pain, multiple episodes of seizure, vomiting & headache. On examination, vision in R/E was FC at 4m with increased IPA & scleral thinning; vision in L/E was 6/12 with IPA- wnl. Port wine stain was noted extending over the central area of face & trunk. On examination under GA, IOP (by Schiotz) of R/E was 34.4 mmHg & L/E was 15.1 mmHg, corneal diameter of R/E was 13mm x 13mm & L/E was 10mm x 10mm, Fundus of B/E was wnl. CEMRI brain showed leptomeningeal telangiectasia with leptomeningeal enhancement & gyriform pattern of cortical calcification involving right temporo-parieto-occipital lobes & angiomatous enlargement of choroid plexus of right lateral ventricle- suggestive of Sturge Weber Syndrome. Patient was started on E/D Dorzox BD & E/D CMC 0.5% in R/E. On 1st follow-up after 7 days, IOP of R/E reduced to 20.6 mmHg, L/E= 14.6 mmHg. Patient is currently under regular follow-up.
