Abstract
To report a case of Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy associated with Familial Dominant Drusen
A 54year old female presented with complaints of painless progressive reduction of vision in the both eyes for the past 2 months. On examination her best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 6/9 in both eyes. Based on fundus examination and multimodal imaging both eyes(BE) were diagnosed as familial dominant drusen associated with active polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy(PCV). Spectral domain optical coherence tomography showed dilated outerchoroidal vessel with features of PCV with multiple drusens.Patient underwent multiple doses of bevacizumab injection and BCVA improved to 6/6 both eyes with reduction is subretinal fluid.PCV association with RP,tilted disc, high myopia, disc drusen , CSCR, angioid streak is known. But, association with familial dominant drusen is not reported before in literature and should be considered as a differential for central vision loss in Familial Dominant Drusen
