Abstract
57 patients with mean age of 36 yrs with Intermediate & Posterior uveitis due to various etiologies including sarcoidosis, tuberculosis, toxoplasma, VKH, syphilis were evaluated at a tertiary care centre in south India using SD & EDI OCT on day of presentation, 1st & 3rd month after treatment for changes in choroidal lesion thickness, types of CME, IS-OS junction abnormality, presence of ERM, SRF, VMT & serous RD. We found significant decrease in choroidal thickness, CMT resolution. In 65.2% patients uveitic activity was present in fundus autofluorescence, 12 .3% patients had IS-OS junction abnormality, 31.6% had serous RD which reduced to 5.9% at 3rd month. Positive correlation was noted at 3rd month follow up between choroidal thickness & visual acuity. Treatment response was better both in terms of resolution of edema & final visual outcome
