Abstract
Foster Kennedy syndrome is a rare neurological entity that includes i/l optic atrophy,c/l papilledema, & sometimes anosmia.The syndrome has been described in ass. with a variety of intracranial pathologies such as a large frontal lobe tumor,olfactory groove meningioma, or medial third sphenoidal wing meningioma. In this 39yrs/M presented with DIMINISION OF VISION BE from 5 Mths. Pt. also complains of difficulty in identifying colours. O/E vision re 3/60 le 6/60 rest wnl. fundus re optic atrophy l.e papilloedema. The brain CT s/o a dense mass captured intensely the contrast media located on right side also extending to frontobasal region. m/m is surgical excision of tumor f/b histopathology to know type of maningioma. early management plays major role in prognosis of patient.
