Abstract
Ocular surface squamous neoplasia is the most common non-pigmented malignancy of the ocular surface and is presented in a wide range of histologic diagnoses, ranging from mild epithelial dysplasia to invasive squamous carcinoma. surgical excision is still the gold standard for OSSN treatment. Conservative medical approaches are readily growing including topical mitomycin 0.02 %,5-FU 1% and recently IFN-alpha 2 b
27 year old male presented with pricking sensation and growth in right eyes since 3 months.
On examination there was a gelatinous mass on temporal part of palpebral conjunctiva of 10.5 *3 mm of which 1 mm encroaching cornea with feeder vessels.
Investigation like Impression cytology,Ultrasound biomicroscopy,AS OCT confirmed the diagnosis
Patient was treated with 4 doses of 0.5 ml 3MIU subconjunctival injection of Interferon alpha2b 1 week apart.
This case showed ossn can be treated with only subconjunctival interferon alpha 2b avoiding
