Abstract
Purpose To present clinical profile of Covid -19 cases seen in uveitis-neuroophthalmological clinic of a tertiary institute of northeast India
Methods: Case series. Patients presenting with previous history of Covid 19 infection. All clinical details, ophthalmic complications, vaccine and immunosuppressant history were noted. Investigations correlated were RT PCR for Covid-19, serum Ferritin, D-Dimer and other relevant tests.
Results: 12 cases presented from May to September- 2021 with varied ophthalmic manifestations. Age range 6 years to 71 years; M:F::7:5; with presentations like papilloedema (n=one), NMO spectral disease (n=one), sclero uveitis (n=four), Bilateral multiple retinal hemorrhages (n=one), orbital inflammation(n-one), B-Cell ALL (n=one), retinal cotton wool spots (n-one) and rest with non specific complaints (n=two). MRI orbit and sinuses were done to rule out fungus infection.
Conclusions: Sclerouveitis was the commonest presentation in this short study.
