Abstract
A 55 years old lady presented with loss of inferior field of vision in left eye for last 4 years. Her unaided V/A was 6/9 N6 (OD) and 6/18(P) N8 (OS). On examination, the anterior segment was within normal limits. Fundus examination revealed mild blurring of disc margin with tortuous vessels in right eye and a deeply pigmented mass on the temporal aspect of the optic disc in left eye. Humphrey field analysis (30-2) revealed infero-temporal paracentral scotoma in left eye. MRI revealed no optic disc abnormality. A diagnosis of ONH melanocytoma was made and patient was advised for yearly follow up. Hence, a pigmented lesion can have a wide spectrum of visual field changes and a proper clinical and investigational correlation is needed for diagnosis and proper management.
