Abstract
A 45 year old female patient with history of retinal vein occlusions OU and TPPV in OD and sectoral laser in OS with multiple IV Bevacizumab injections presented with blurring in OS since 10 days. BCVA: OD 6/6,N6, OS 6/24. GAT: 14 and 15 mmHg in OD & OS. Anterior segment was normal OU. Fundus examination was suggestive of post vitrectomised eye OD and lasered STBRVO with macular edema in OS. OCT OS showed CME with CMT 467m. Patient refused further IV injections and was treated with ed Difluprednate 0.05% bd, ed Timolol maleate 0.5% bd in OS. At 7d, BCVA OS was 6/12, maintained till 30d, with reduction of CME. At 3months, BCVA OS was 6/12, GAT was 30mmHg CMT was 440m. Observing the steroid response, Difluprednate ed was replaced with ed Nepafenac 0.1% BD. OD was unremarkable. On 7d, BCVA OS had reduced to 6/36, GAT was 18mmHg and CME had increased to 727m. Patient was reinjected with IVB in OS. At 7d, BCVA OS improved to 6/18 and CMT was 612m. Planned for treatment with repeat IVB in OS
