Abstract
Intralenticular pressure in intumescent cataract / pearly white mature cataract is a menace for cataract surgeon for successful completion of capsulorhexix , a most important step for uncomplicated cataract surgery . Various method has been described to prevent argentinian flag sign due to high intralenticular pressure jeopardising safe surgery . In this paper I have described a novel technique to curb this situation . Due to small opening on anterior capsule by cystitome there is sudden gush of fluid pr pressure trie to escape through this small opening but fail to escape resulting in sudden enlargement of anterior capsule in order to escape large amount of of lenticular fluid or releasing of pressure . In this technique I used keratome to rip open the anterior capsule thereby making very large opening at once so intracapsular fluid escape suddenly or Intralenticular pressure released immediately not giving chance to extension of capsulorhexix to extend towards periphery
