Abstract
A 66yr hindu male presented with c/o gradual, progressive, painless diminution of vision of LE for 9months. it was associated with blurring of vision, watering and redness for last 15days and pain in LE for 3days. H/O cataract surgery on RE 10yrs back.
on examination, V/A on RE 6/9 & LE HM+. IOP on RE-17.3 & LE- 50mmHg . LE conjunctival congestion + , cornea is hazy & edematous, AC deep, Pupil dilated and fixed, not reacting to light. on slit lamp examination- pigmented kps , DM folds ,cells 5+, flare 3+ present.
Case was diagnosed to be [LE] LENS induced Phacolytic Glaucoma with Anterior Uveitis .
treatment given to reduce signs of anetrior uveitis, topical steroid drops was given.
To reduce IOP i/v mannitol, oral actazolamide, & topical timolol drop given.
And later after anterior uveitis controlled LENS extraction was done.
