Abstract

Retrospective analysis of patients who had undergone cataract surgeries during 2016 to 2020 at rural centres was perfomed. All patients who had cataract surgeries performed by phacoemulsification or Manual small incision cataract surgery i was included. Other srgeries such as combined cataract surgery such as glaucoma, ICCE and ECCE were excluded. Preoperative and postoperative visual acuity at an interval between 3 to 11 weeks is noted. Demographics data as age, gender, socioeconomic status and intraoperative compications were noted. The main outcome measure was UCVA and BCVA of 6/12 or better.
