Abstract

A 8 year old male patient presented with pain and redness in left eye since 1 year .Patients relatives also complains of white reflex since few years. On examination patient had corneal edema, hyphema, neovascularization of iris and probable mature cataract. Patient was advised for sonography in which closed funnel retinal detachment was dignosed. On detail history evaluation, history of retinopathy of prematurity found for which patient lost to follow up in past. Neovascular glaucoma due to stage 5 retinopathy of prematurity dignosed .Patient was explained about nil visual prognosis and was treated for symptoms and pressure lowering agents given.
