Abstract
Aim: To evaluate optical coherence tomography angiography parameters of retina in SARS-COV-2 recovered subjects Methods: In an observational study on 38 subjects in the age range of 54.1813.64 years, having diabetes (24), hypertension (30), cardiovascular disease (18), tuberculosis (18) and respiratory illness (60), FAZ size, perimeter and circularity index; and parafoveal VD in superficial, deep and outer retina, chorio-capillaries and choroid were analysed using OCTA. Results: The Foveal avascular zone (FAZ) size measured 0.340.15 mm2; perimeter 3.251.18 mm; and circularity index 0.410.10. The VD in superficial capillary plexus (SCP) measured 9.244.47; deep capillary plexus (DCP) 6.094.55; outer retina (OR) 4.885.19; chorio-capillaries (CC) 15.155.22 and choroid (C ) 13.153.24. There was a SS difference (p<0.05) from VD of normal Indian population. Conclusion: The SARS-COV-2 recovered subjects have reduced VD probably from COVID or underlying disease or both.
