Abstract
Introduction : – Precision medicine & Artificial Intelligence ( AI) when applied to Pediatric ophthalmic cases increases the probability of results & reduces costs. Wolfram language artificial Intelligence makes it easier for eye surgeons to apply AI as compared to conventional AI
Methods :- 1923 Pediatric ophthalmology were analysed qualitatively with two different AI methods , Conventional Vs Wolfram language AI after phenotype analysis .
Results : The sensitivity and specificity was 83 & 89 with conventional AI and 87 & 94 respectively with Wolfram language AI. The complicating systemic disorder was easier to pick up & treat with Wolfram Language AI .The odds ratio were highest with hypertelorism, nystagmus and myopia as phenotypes . The overall costs per patient reduced by 15 % when Wolfram language AI was used
Conclusions : Wolfram language AI performs superior to Conventional AI in Pediatric ophthalmology cases with multi system disorders and has potential to reduce costs.
