This instruction course highlights the current paradigms for management of pediatric cataract. It will especially focus on controversies in the field today, and give guidelines to both novice and experienced surgeons on how to enhance surgical and functional outcomes based on current evidence. The faculty will discuss using videos and case based examples, current paradigms for dealing with routine and challenging pediatric cataract scenarios. At the end of the course, the attendees will be able to gain useful practical tips that they can implement in their practices to improve outcomes.
