Surgical management of Rhegmatogenous Retinal detachment is a multifaceted science. Multiple procedures like Laser Photocoagulation, Pneumatic Retinopexy , Scleral buckle, Vitrectomy with tamponade have been described in literature to manage this condition .However the exact application of a particular option at times leads to dilemma in the minds of Ophthalmologist handling Retinal Detachment.In this IC senior retinal surgeons with immense experience in handling RD will cover all types of procedures currently in use in managing RD and would give clear guidelines regarding role of each procedure in practical day to day settings.
