This session will be a video based panel discussion on challenging scenarios in cataract surgery. Different ways of dealing with similar difficult situations will be demonstrated by the chairpersons and further discussion by the panelists on the topics will follow. There will be audience interaction time at the end of the session.

Topics

1. Mature hard cataract with small pupil: SICS / phaco with pupil expansion devices.

2. Hypermature cataract with early on Zonular weakness / PC rupture: continue / convert

3. Iatrogenic Open PC after VR procedure / intravitreal injection: Cataract management

4. Management of Aniridia associated with cataract / Apahkia

5. Recenteringdecentered / subluxated IOLs

6. Scleral fixated IOLs: sutured / glued

Each topic will be demonstrated with 2 videos (3 mins) each followed by panel discussion for 5 mins. At the end, 10 mins for audience interaction.
