DURING THE COVID LOCKDOWN PHASE, MANY ALSO DISCOVERED THE WIDE RANGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA AVAILABLE AND LIKE A CHILD LET LOOSE IN A CHOCOLATE FACTORY, WENT A LITTLE BERSERK WITH THEIR NEW DISCOVERY. A BARRAGE OF WEBINARS, IRRESPONSIBLE POSTS ON WHATS APP, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM AND FACE BOOK FOLLOWED, CAUSING MUCH EMBARRASSMENT TO ALL CONCERNED. THIS IC WILL HAVE RESPONSIBLE USERS OF VARIOUS SOCIAL MEDIA TALKING ABOUT THE POWER OF THE MEDIUM, ITS EFFECTIVE USE TO ENHANCE PRACTICE AND PREVENTION OF ABUSE.
TOPICS COVERED WILL BE WHATS APP, INSTAGRAM, LINKED IN, BLOGS, TWITTER, YOU TUBE, FACEBOOK AMONG OTHERS. HOW TO GET THE BEST OUT OF EACH MEDIUM; IMPORTANCE OF SELF DEPRECIATION, HUMOUR, WHAT TO POST AND WHAT NOT TO POST WILL BE TAUGHT.
