Abstract

CCC is quite difficult in intumescent cataract. There is likely chances of Argentinian flag sign while performing CCC in lieu of increased intra capsular pressure with the help of bent 26G Needle simultaneous aspiration of liquid cortex through the initial nick on capsule & concurrently injecting HPMC through other side port by automated visco delivery system is performed to preclude peripheral extension of CCC. Instead of automated visco delivery manual injection of HPMC can be performed. We got excellent results with the help of this innovative technique and hardly any CCC escape was noted.
