Abstract

Visco is delivered in Anterior Chamber through a Visco chopper or AC Maintainer; it’s an automated technique and operated through a foot pedal control. The silicon oil injection system is utilized for this purpose and a special VFI port is made available on the phaco machine.

It’s very useful in complicated Anterior Segment surgeries.maintaining good AC depth, corneal endothelial protection and keeping PC away from Phaco tip. These are the major advantages of this technique.
