Abstract
45 yrs male patient presented with sudden drop of vision in LE following accidental exposure to molten metal wile working in factory , initially case was managed by elsewhere by topical medications , on presentation to us BCVA RE 6/6,N 6 and LE 6/60, N<24 and RE-WNL, LE grade 4 chemical and thermal injury and inferior scleral ischemia.On same day LE-EMERGENCY TENONPLASTY +AMT+FG done under GA, but in-spite of aggressive medications progressive inferior scleral ischemia noted so, my second surgical plan was SPG+AMT+CAG+FG UNDER LA Done , immediate post op was uneventful and after 6 weeks eye was clear cornea , quiet ocular surface and moist eye So, Chemical injury management should be in molecular and cellular level and SPG is a novel technique to salvage the Eyes
