Abstract

As the corneal procurement is drastically low during COVID-19 time, we need to double the utilization rate for each optical grade tissue.

This video demonstrate a novel technique of DMEK graft preparation via BCL interface technique. It helps to utilize one cornea for two recipients: one for DMEK and one for DALK. BCL interface is necessary for DMEK graft for creating ‘S’ stamps, so that the surgeon’s main DMEK surgical technique remains same.
