Abstract
Methods – Attempts were made ,light setting and maneuvers adjusted. Continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis (CCC) was initiated at a transparent window and illumination was adjusted. CCC was performed with tethered force under the opaque area. Pupillary sphincterotomy was performed in clear corneal region by vannas scissors lifting the pupillary edge.
Conclusion – In cases of cataract and leucomatous corneal opacity cataract surgery alone provides vision when penetrating keratoplasty is not possible. Cataract surgery with pupillary sphincterotomy can be done in patients with central leucomatous opacity.
