Abstract
A 3 yr old girl child last in order from a 1st degree consanguineous marriage brought to OPD by her mother with complaints of face turn to right side since 1 yr and deviation of LE since birth. No significant birth or developmental history. On examination her anterior and posterior segment were normal. There was no significant refractive error. Orthoptic examination revealed CHP head tilt to right and 45° exodeviation in LE on HCRT. Dolls eye maneuver showed adduction limitation in LE on face turn to left. On EOM examination there was LE adduction limitation on Ductions and on versions LE restricted movement in dextroversion noted. MRI BRAIN study was normal.Patient was surgically managed with squint correction.LE ipsilateral Supramaximal LR recession and MR resection was done. Post operatively she gained LE adduction movement and there was no CHP.This is a case report of rare congenital partial 3rd nerve palsy(?Isolated MR) recovered well with squint correction
