Abstract
introduction-Sclerocornea is a primary anomaly in which scleralization of a peripheral part of the cornea or the entire corneal tissue occurs.
material method-7 year old female came with DOV both eye since 2 years. Similar history was present in his sibling. Complete ophthalmic examination was done. On slit lamp examination both eye cornea was totally opaque with no demarcation of limbus. Both eye ultrasonography was done to rule out any other ocular pathology.
Result: Both eye showed complete sclerocornea, on ultrasonography showed microophthalmia- aphakia complex with optic nerve dysplasia.
Conclusion: A rare disease – sclerocornea is repoted with microphthalmia – aphakia and optic nerve dysplasia.
