Abstract
Aim: To correlate the findings of Visual fields,RNFL,GCC and OCT-Angio and Pattern ERG in patients with primary open angle glaucoma Method:- 50 eyes of proven Primary Open Angle Glaucoma and 50 normal eyes were analysed with the OCT-A. The OCT-A provided an anatomical and structural analysis of the vascular density of the ONH. These values were correlated with the corresponding loss of RNFL and GCC in the respective segments. A further sub group(N=35) of the POAG patients were subject to P-ERG and the results were correlated. Results: The reduction in vascular density in glaucoma cases were anatomically corresponding to the loss of ganglion cells and thinning of the RNFL as demonstrated with the OCT RNFL-GCC map. Reductions in the amplitude of PERG were observed in the subgroup of POAG patients. Conclusion: OCTA is a rapid non-invasive modality to quantify papillary and peripapillary vessel density Vascular indices could be used as an adjunct to evaluate or diagnose glaucoma
